Good afternoon
There will be a short outage this afternoon while I install and activate an SSL Certificate as it is a multi step process and involves an Apache restart. After that you will need to use https:// to access AFF although I'll add a rewrite rule to automatically do the redirect from http:// anyway. Cheers Russ

UPDATE
The SSL certificate is now installed. Changes will be made over the next hour or so to force the use of https and update all the forum URL's to reflect that change. Please note that due to known vulnerabilities in SSL2 and SSL3, both of these have been disabled in favour of TLA (all three versions) - users with very old browsers may find that they cannot access the forum in the absence of SSL3 support but as this is only likely to impact users of Windows XP with IE6 so for them, an upgrade to a later version of IE will be required. Regards Russ

Further to the above, there will be an extended outage tonight while the RAID mirror in the production server is broken and the drive moved to a new server as a precursor to server migration.
Expected start time is 01:30 and the outage shouldn't last more than 60 minutes. Regards Russ

Apologies for the extended outage which was caused by a misunderstanding between myself and our ISP. The server will be slow for the next couple of hours as the RAID array is updated.
Cheers Russ
