Default Stickers on cars ( especially back window? )

Hey guys.

I know this will always come down to personal opinion, but was wondering what people think about stickers ( words ) on back windows of cars? I have a 09 FG that has BUDDY on my back window, now it was nice when I got it put on there, but honestly think it ruins the nice clear look of my car now.

I also have XR6 on the spoiler, and XR FALCON on the mirrors ( misses got them done ) and not sure if I want to leave them there, as clean FG's do look nice.

What do use think?

Here's the mirror stickers.

And the rear stickers

Yeah I know in the end this thread won't matter. Just curious as to what people think about them.

I'm thinking of getting BUDDY removed, but then the XR on the spoiler might look weird.

And I'm getting the N/A FG sticker kit on the side, the one that goes in the groove.

In that case, they look silly and all stickers should be banned

Keep the mud spats, better than chipped paint if you ever go on dirt.

Looks cheap, one on rear window ok, but side mirrors, not good at all.

Clearly personal opinion then.

The other bloke likes them, I'm not sure on them, and I think the BUDDY makes it look cheap.

If it were mine I'd pull them all off and also ditch the mudspats while I was at it.

I can understand what you are saying. We had Flame stickers on the side of our car, our names on the door and a big sticker on the back. Some people hated them...we liked them.

We are now modding the coupe again so off they have come. Time for a change. Best thing about stickers is you can take them off if you change your mind.

As for you stickers, I really like the ones on the mirrors.

Cheers
Col

stickers can be a cheap effective way of changing the look of your car

they can also be a cheap effective way of making it look like the owner is pimply faced p plater thats watched fast n the furious too many times.

of your ones, the mirror ones are the only ones i dont like, and as said earlier its your car, doesnt matter what anyone else thinks.

ive got the silver fern on my back window (albeit in mattblack lol) plus im planning on the gs or gt stickers for my fg

Hi,the only stickers on your car that dont appeal to me are the ones on the door mirrors, other than that they are fine, the mud spats i like too,.....on the back window of our ute and sedan we have a big tickford wing, and on the little windows on the side of the ute there are tiny Van Halen stickers,...in the end it comes down to personal choice, but some cars ive seen are wayyy to overdone for "my" liking...

I personally do not like the mirror or spoiler stickers at all, would pull them off instantly, not sure what the back window sticker is supposed to mean, so that would go as well, the car will look so much better without them.

Not sure why people want to take the mud spats off? They look good, and very neat and protect the paintwork on your car, it's not like they are the huge mud flaps of the 70's. Wish that made factory mud spats for my FPV I would fit them in an instant.

Stickers maybe...but no mud flaps...? They were the first thing we ticked when picking a few options for the G6E...

...huh...city folk...

Our Falcon has a couple of small stickers on the back window, one with the flag saying "Support out troops", and another small one from a Ford dealer in California who happens to have the same name as us.
Our old WB Ute has a few on the back window...a small "Lady Luck" sticker, a bigger chrome Hypnotoad one with "Obey!" Under it, and one I had made up saying "Steel body, chrome bumpers, cast iron engine: just as nature intended".

What? My post NEVER suggested he remove HIS stickers on his car.He clearly asked, "what people think of stickers on the back windows of cars".
Do yourself a favour and re-read the OP's post.

That is a matter in how you decide to interpret that. But yes, in my opinion they door look crap and cheapen the look of the cars.
Anything else you would like to add?

Get off your high horse, the OP's first post was open to interpretation as it included a picture and description of stickers. So it could have been seen as asking if people like them. Everyone interprets things differenet on the internet, who would have thought that eh. In reply to the topic, i dont mind small stickers i have a couple on my rear hatch.

Personally, I like the spoiler stickers. I've seen a couple of FG's with them and I think the latest GT/GS models may of came out with them from factory or as a dealer option?

Other stickers imo don't look to good, but some can.

Wow, im surprised, people saying what someone does to their car is gay...

How intelligent, calling something gay.

The spoiler decal's look good, not sure about the mirror ones though...looks a bit messy.

As for the rear window, that's a personal thing, as long as its relevant to yourself, then its ok. It's not like its a IQ depleting "justify your existence" sticker, or something of that ilk.

I would get rid of the stickers, except the one on the back window if you like it. Keep the mudspats, they will protect your car and don't really stand out.

Me? I prefer clean lines, I think stickers take away from a nice car (unless they are factory), I would look at that and say "WTF", sorry mate, but you asked for an opinion
