I think the RS Focus was a great step as well. The Falcon G6ET has made me say wow considering it's a luxury car for quite a good price with lightning fast speeds.

Damn yes a black T2 is nice, that car with a 5.6L and manual would be pretty much perfection.
XC Cobra is my fav coupe, even if it was gutless compared to the GT's. Obviously GT40, Shelby Cobra and Daytona Coupe, but for modern muscle this car gets me onto ebay quicker than most. |

Escort RS Cossie from the 90's.
Always dreamed of having one. I guess more of a rarity out here making them of a dream. Plus the old skool RS500s. They were animals.

The Escort was a Ford that made me say whoa, but not in the sense of this thread! I looked at it against Corolla, Mazda, Nissen when choosing a car for the MIL in the 1980s. The Homebush-built Escort was the best design of the group but the build quality was just truly shocking - blatantly, visibly so. So it had to be a Jap unfortunately and the lasting impression kept me well away from Fords until the Territory (for which the build quality is still an issue but not to the extent of the Escort!). The Terri makes me want to say whoa but I err on the side of caution! |

I have been to virtually every Sydney Motor Show since I was able to get there by my own steam - in other words probably about 40 years or so.
There have only ever been two Fords that I have seen and knew immediately that I had to own. The first was the Falcon Cobra. The second was the T3. |

I've had two now. One Red (in 1996), and one Grey, which I still drive.
