Community Builder: In recognition of those who have helped build the AFF community. - Issue reason: Raptor: For Continued, and prolonged service to the wider Ford Community
Default Rename "The Pub" Competition

Following on from a suggestion we are going to run a competition to rename this forum as well as try and gather your views on what it is about this area of the forum that you find appealing.

"The Pub" has no real automotive connection as a name so we are looking for suggestions that are both in keeping with the spirit of what this forum is about and which provide some idea as to what the content of the area is.

This thread will run until the end of the month and the admin team will select a number of the suggestions for inclusion in a voting thread. The winner will receive an AFF Prize Pack.

As well as your suggestions please tell us what you like about this area - you can link to examples of threads or posts that have interested you and after the forum is renamed some of these will form a sticky thread as useful things for new (and existing) members to browse.

Cheers
Admin Team

What about two forums:
1) Ford products (only)
2) The competition

I think this would be a good area. I would say there could be room for more, though, as you would have seen on some of the other sites.
  • General car chat area.
  • Ford News and Headlines.
  • Local Competition News.
  • International News.

All the above would/could come under the new name for the Pub. On this I like barra265t's suggestion "Henry's Corner".

Pub-not all just ford related. I actually had the same idea as Simon, The Engine Room, it sums it up nicely. Bar? Well it's non automotive chat, so why not have THAT as the pub? Usually where I go to escape work aka the engine room

It's premature but I think either garage or engine room have the best ring to them. Henries corner was good though.
