Cut a long story short - the ceramic component of the plug snapped off and has fallen down the hole the plug is threaded into. Didn't think it was an issue, put in the new plug and engine runs rough as guts and the engine check light goes on. Suggestions on what i should do before Monday...
*please don't need the crap on me stuff*. |

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the head needs to come and damage assessed.
The only patch up thing you can try is to get the plug out and use air to try to get an peices out, but the running rough indicates it may have some under the valve seat and holding it partially open.

In my younger days I had a spark plug disintergrate in a Toyota Camry and bits went into the motor and bent a valve and scored the bore such that needed a rebuild all because I kept driving when it started running on 3 cylinders hoping to "limp home".

I ended up vaccuming the spark plug holes (all 4) and cleaned all the leads and low and behold it ran smooth. However, my engine check light is now on and the exhaust fumes seems to smell bit different. Will be going to the service place Monday.
