Hi,
I was watching American hot rod the other night and noticed that the 1957 chev they were doing was a full chassis car (ie can lift the body off the chassis). It made me wonder, what other passenger cars (recent) were full chassis and not monoque (spelling)? I know 4wd (landcruisers etc), jap utes (hilux), american ute (F100), VW beetle. When was the most recent full chassis passenger car? Or was that back in Hot Rod era? Just interested to know more. Thanks, Ray |

Holden HQ-WB utes/tonners/panno's all had a perimeter chassis. Not exactly passenger cars though I suppose.
Isn't the US Ford Crown Vic dinosaur a BOF (body-on-frame) design?

Landrovers and Range rovers are all chassis cars. The defender still has the same chassis since 1984 only why it changed then was for length by 1 inch
cheers
