Ok everyone, just confirming all the details for this Sunday.

Meeting place is the carpark of the Lanyon McDonalds at Tuggeranong. Meet at 9.15am for a 9.30am departure. We head down the Monaro Highway to Cooma where we turn west onto the Alpine Highway and head through Adaminaby to Tumut where we'll stop for lunch. From here we continue across and join the Hume Highway at Gundagai and cruise back to Canberra.

There are petrol stations at Cooma, Adaminaby, Tumut and Gundagai for those who need to top up - and for those who need 98, BP Ultimate is available at Cooma, Adaminaby and Gundagai.

As Glenn said this should be a fun and scenic trip - we'd love to see a heap of people there, particularly some of those faces we haven't seen for a while/ever!

Have a great day all of you lucky enough to go on the cruise. A mate did this trip with HSV club the other weekend, but anti-clockwise. They had a ball. He said the roads were great for some fun driving. Anyway have fun, I will be assisting the good wife, she is involved with Tropfest and i had already committed to helping. Cheers Barnesy

Damned shame Dane. I was hoping to replicate the run we had to the coast last year but this time over the mountain. Never mind, Enjoy Melbourne. :

Troy, grab a copy of the list using the 'quote' button underneath the most current list post, then edit it (take out the quote and /quote tags)

I'd also like to extend thanks to the organisers, GlennT for expert pace car duties, and to everyone else for careening though 487.543KM of roads at breakneck speed (the average was 59.5KM/h).

And here's your dam photos!

Was odd standing under the HT lines coming from the Tumut 3 power station, they were audibly humming and crackling.

It was truly a brilliant cruise, with some varying scenery, beautiful roads, stunning looking cars and most of all a great group of people. What a way to kick off 2009!!

We done to the events team for putting that one together and to Glenn for guiding us through those winding roads. Any chance we can lock a tour on that piece of road in the events calendar every year?

I was actually on a mission to find the missing President and an ED driver. The guys decided on getting a few more pictures while I was away.

By-the-way, the Pursuit had no problems keeping up through the corners. I couldn't say the same thing about my passenger, who was feeling and looking a little off colour :
