The A/C is playing up in my TE, sometimes it just doesnt engage when you press the AUTO or A/C button. Other times it does. Any ideas?

If it is low the compressor it should still engage but just push out hot air. When it does engage it works fine.

If it was me I'd be looking at the obvious 1st.
Have you checked the wiring coming out of the compressor? Unplug it and replug just in case there is dirt or water i the contact. With all the rain lately it may very well be dirty connection if water has splashed up there. (not like its a part you would normally clean) |

Have you tried the climate control reset thing to see if any error codes come up??? I think its pressing each button at the end (vent position & Off (IIRC)) at the same time. Also i would be checking the plug into the actually climate control unit, maybe it has come a little loose if its been out before. Just a thought.
