Hi,
Does anyone know if there is anywhere that I can get a air intake box or even just the lid second hand or if other models will fit, the car is a 6cyl and is on gas but don't think that matters. Any info would be great. Thanks Andrew |

Wrecker will have one I'm sure, they didn't really change between EF & AU.

Try and get the lid from an EL airbox as the snorkel inside has a better flow rate and will fit the AU.

My AUII Fairlane has an EF airbox with a pod filter inside. They fit into the bay with no problem but I think you need a small ring adapter for the hole to the engine from the box.

yes hte hole in the bum of the box where the pipe comes in is a different size to the stock item (goes from 3" upto 3.5 i THINK)
option 2 is grab the EF lid AND pipe from the elbow down and you should be sweet (we had this issue when i fitted my 3" intake pipe and went to connect it to my AU lid and it didnt fit so me and the prev owner of my pipe had to swap lids too) good luck
