Default Your Favorite Turbo?

Just thought this would be a cool idea to see what peoples favorite 'Turbo' model from Ford is.

Focus XR5 Turbo

Phoar to hard to call really. All are awesome, depends what you need I guess. But since you asked:

Focus/Mondeo - For hooning around during the week and not spending a fortune on fuel
Falcon - Weekend Warrior
Territory - Well one day I guess the chances of carting kids might be an issue, may as well do it quickly.

But if I had to choose one, and be mindful of fuel etc, id get the Mondeo.

I voted XR6T 'cause they still make me drool.
Though if I wanted a small car I'd take the XR5T, hatch, black, but at last look they didn't have a option for full black leather interior. I'm not a fan of the colour coded interior in them.
If I had kids, or lived in a semi rural area and did a lot of k's, then I'd take the Territory. Again in black.

I thought that too, but maybe he was trying to differentiate between Ford and FPV?

Yeah give me an XR6 Turbo with all the options and do whatever has to be done to get 300+RWKW.

No point pussy-footing around with a small car IMO.

I might be bias but i voted XR6T.

It was also the begining of the Ford turbo partenship.

What about the Turbo TX3 Lasers - 4WD of course ...

I've had mine for eight plus years now ... can't bring myself to get rid of it, surprising quick and when traction breaks due to the rear drive bias its progressive oversteer. :

But talking about oversteer ... my favorite:

... but I am biased

TERRITORY! It drives like a car, you can go camping in it, throw the mountain bike in the back. tow a big boat, drive around a tribe of people. and best of all you can still take on the smug P plater in the commadore.
I'ts a great allrounder

When it comes to family, is the Territory that much better than the Falcon in "family necessities"? If so, give me examples why...

My vote would probably have to go to the XR5 Focus because the rest of them all look boring in stock form.

None of that lot, I'm afraid...

If I had to have a turbo'd Ford, there'd only be one that I'd want, and I'll have mine in black, thanks:

Escort Cosworth & Sierra Cosworth. Full stop.

Although Focus XR5T and Falcon XR6T are nice.

XR6 Martin, I saw a pimped out black on black Ranger yesterday and it looked AWESOME. Had some big shadow chrome rims and looked tough as nails, wasn't on its guts so he must use it a bit.

All the above are great cars, and Fords line up is getter better and better.

Orion Fairmont Ghia would be my pick!

Of those on the list, XR6 Turbo easily.

RWD, for one, and its just so far ahead of the rest potential wise. The Territory is even engine wise, being exactly the same... but in a big 4WD thing? Urgh...

XR6 Turbo + $5000 in mods and some 911 Turbo owners are going to be scratching their heads...
