hi i own a tx5 91 ghia,an since ive had it its allways revved to 2000 ,2500 when its cold.an sometimes it sits there an bounces on the revs.just wondering if theres anyway to disconnect it.

dont know the specs if it is efi adjust the idle when cold
by the brass screw on the throttle body if injected the throttle position sensor . o2 sensor on the manifild or the air flow sensor in the air filter box may need looking at

agree that you should adjust the idle when cold, I have a 93 Ghia I have a twist adjuster where the cable comes out of the throttle and goes back to the pedal. Try half a turn and see how you fair. You can do this with your hands although acess is tricky.
