Default Hsv 2013

Any confermation on the power output for the 2013 HSV and will it be supercharged?
Speculation a 410kw supercharged 6.2L, 0 - 100 in 4 seconds.
What will FPV do, how much more can they push the FPV range and will Ford respond?

Quad turbo, twin supercharged 900kw V12 in titanium and carbon fibre chassis with a 0-100 in 2.5 seconds, top speed of 350km/h and a RRP of $29,995 inc GST.

OR

As the F series GTS will have basically the same engine as the current with the LT1 in 2014 probably not much at all.

I've only seen references to the LSA going into GTS, that's it. I've also seen references that the GenV won't be going in at VF launch.

I seriously doubt it would have those specs. They only need to match if only slightly exceed FPV to get an upper hand so no point going overkill which for the $ it would be.

Whatever they bring out FPV won't have to do much to have more power as all of them are detuned from factory.

Different air filter and tune - see ya HSV

Add an intercooler, increase the boost and FPV will have 400 Kw

Pity the driveline won't cope with that

If they put much more power through the FG drive train its probably a race with the Holden guy to the service department for warranty repairs.

Why? We all know the Miami is putting out more than 335kw at the crank.

Most illogical statement and am more than over hearing rubbish like this with no substance. As said, these have been very successfully tuned with KPM (WARRANTIED) and Harrods doing a roaring business doing it. Comments like this do not belong in these threads (OFF TOPIC) or these forums for that matter without some facts to back it up ...... and I don't mean "My brothers best mate's dad ..... " type stories. Lets hear how your GT335 is handling things on a daily basis???? What are these particular problems are you having? I don't seem to be having any in mine?

Want a 4 at the start of a KW figure? AND doing duties day in day out ......

Yes all well and good but will the Clubsport come with leathers seats as standard and what about a Facebook app on the ICC? Otherwise I think you have overpriced it.

Exactly, otherwise it will just be HSV and FPV owners down the pub, boasting whose driveline blew up faster under warranty. Mine blew the diff apart in 3.2 seconds! Yeah well my transmission went into limp home mode in 3!

Not only that, but how much is it going to take to get these 1800kg monsters to 100kph any quicker than they do now? The power war is over imo. They now need to address other areas.

I imagine the OP scored his info from wheels, motor or somewhere similar. It will not have 410kw, the new Corvette will receive that tune and it may even crack a 4 sec 0-100. The sheer amount of power it would take to propel a 1800kg GTS to 100kmh in 4 secs would be immense, more than 410kw that's for sure...............

the NSW police special R spec is 406 RWKW with just injectors and a tune and that was after being told to be conservative so Ford have plenty to play with

Guys this thread is about HSV 2013 models.
Was at a BBQ today a mechanical insurance assessor told me he was told that HSV will have a Super Charged vehicle in the next line-up, how reliable is the info only time will tell.

Not bad info going back to 2012 despite many giving you a raspberry for the shared info.

If Ford made the Mustang available for US prices & with the same upgrades available why would you buy a HSV that just looks like a riced up commodore.
