Default au II xr8 ute

hey guys wondering what size lowering blocks ppl are using in there utes.
i tryed 1.5 inch blocks but ute sat too low. shockers were rubbing on the rims. any comments

any help appreciated thinking 1 inch blocks not sure if they will clear. the guy at air ride said most popular ones used in fords was 1.5 inch. said he fitted some in a ba xr8 the day before. is the ba diff to the au? thought they had the same setup

It depends on the size of the rims. I bought lowering blocks before I went and replaced the leaf springs. They didn't fit with standard 17" rims so I had them machined down.

i think i found when i had them, that 1" just rubbed with 17's

I used lowered springs, found it easier and I am not restricted by shocks rubbing on the rims (and no problem with the spare either).

had them machined down to 1 inch see how i go. guessing clearance should be over 10mm with the shockers on the rims. I hope!
