Default clicking under pedals in au2

When braking at low speeds and taking off (especially after a decent drive or in a heavy traffic) my au 2 futura (auto/4.0L/ABs etc) makes an annoying clicking noise around the front of the car on driver's side. Any ideas on what this could be- cheers
