Seems like a bargain alright, but what exactly does 'Finance Owing / Encumbered' mean under 'type of title'?

That's what I thought it meant, so presumably that makes it less of a bargain if you'd have to keep paying that, or is that the seller's responsibility?

thats the sellers responsibility. basically if you buy the car with money owing they have to pay it out...well you have to make sure they do, before you buy it...because if they stop the payments...well say goodbye to the car, the finance company will take it and sell it to recover as much as they can on the balance owing.
it doesnt matter if you are the owner of it, it'll still get taken thats why REVS is in place so if you are buying a car it will tell u if it still has money owing on it |
