Default Wolf 3D in AU XR6

Im new to this aftermarket computer stuff but Im trying to sell a Wolf 3D for my mate and after reading a bit i think maybe I should buy it??

How exactly do they work and would it be pointless putting one in a stock AU XR6? How much does it cost to "map" them (I don't even know what that means) and besides the computer would I need other parts (Ignition etc??)

Finally what increase from the stock 164kw should I expect?

Any help appreciated...

On a stock car I don't think it would be worthwhile.

If you were turbo'ing or supercharging you may need an aftermarket computer like the Wolf 3D.

You'd be better spending your money on an upgraded exhaust or cam change etc...

Unless you were going super wild you'd be better off with an edit. The standard computer is a more sophisticated bit of gear that only needs slight tweaking for optimum performance so on a mild car their is no need to reinvent the wheel.
