Default flat bottom girls

We are all very aware that the shape of the car is largely about smooth airflow, but we hardly every look underneath at that upside cutlery tray arrangement. Its hard to photograph, but I cannot find one photo of the underneath of a falcon!

I put my head under the side of my recently purchased 2012 FG2 to discover some of the upside down trays are covered over. Hooray! Flat bottom! What are those panels called? Has this been discussed at all, I guess it has, but other than a thread on economy, which didn't actually mention these covers, I didn't find any???

They're called pains in the asses, and mine disappeared from my cars when I did the oil change and never went back on
