Was it just me or were Melbourne's shopping centres busy as all hell this weekend? I had a few deliveries to do this weekend at the big ones and I couldn't find a spot anywhere, yesterday or today! Cars were parked haphazardly everywhere as a consequence. Traffic leading to the centres was also ridiculous. Was there something on that I wasn't aware of?

I stepped down to the local shopping centre today and a number of spots were free, just that half of those were taken up by trolleys left 10 metres or so from the trolley bay!
I suppose the weather has been crap, so people think they might as well do some shopping

They've got decorations and cakes starting up at Woolies already... truly scary how quickly they start pushing the Christmas stuff. What's so wrong with waiting still the start of November?
