Ok so its not a ford but i have obtained my Nans 1967 Toyota Corona, am going to get it back on the road as a project on the side. It hasnt been registered for 3 years, was just wondering if it came standard with no side mirrors and front blinkers (has them on the side of front panel and below front bumper but are white/combined globe with parker) does it have to have them fitted for rego ? I believe it doesnt as the car was manufactured like this? Also the rear seat (bench) does not have seat belts, so if i was to carry passengers in the back would it have to have them fitted or not as they did not come with them from the factory ?
I was going to register it normally, not through a club. Any thoughts appreciated !

Seatbelts are a no brainer. Even if its legal ( which I doubt ) you'd want to have them anyway. |

As far as I am aware you can register any car however it came from the factory. so if it had no seatbelts then i dont think you need them now but i would want them anyways.
Also with the lights i think the same applies unless it is a state government thing that they can change |

If the car came with no seat belts you do not need them, however if you fit seat belts they have to be engineered as they are a safety item and a modification.
The car can be registered the way it was manufactured no problems at all. |

Yeah for sure i wouldnt carry passengers with no belts, and i dont want to install new ones, want to keep it stock was just a thought. I dont think the little 4 cyl Powerglide would carry any more than 2 adults !
