“In certain vehicles where incorrect-specification brake fluid is used at some stage of the vehicle’s life, there’s a possibility of corrosion building up on the zinc plating on the valve inside the brake control module,” Holden’s director of external communications Craig Cheetham says.

While I'd love to pile on top of Holden, this seems a very unfortunate chain of events,
This could could have just as easily happen to imported vehicles from Thailand...

If it was a Ford recall they would have mentioned Ford were losing money and just about to close down at least 3 times because the Falcon isn't selling, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with the cars recalled.

So they are doing a recall incase someone uses the wrong brake fluid in the vehicles lifetime? wow..........
