Default New Focus ST introduced to the family

Well today my old man picked up his new 2013 built Focus ST from the dealer.
He traded in his old XR8 (luckily cause the ZF decided to give up in the last week) and couldn't be happier.
I think it is the first time in 30 years our family doesn't have a Falcon in the family. All hatches now.
Got to say this new ST is a brilliant looking car and packed with features.
As much as I am tempted to trade in my XR5, I am not willing yet to release my grasp on the 5 cylinder Volvo engine.

At the moment this one only has 28km on it so after it has it's first service and oil change (3000km) I'll take it for a decent spin.

Congrats mate, hope your old man enjoys it. But don't give up on the old car yet, I'm not but it's hard

Congratulations, and you're old man will love it. I had a hard time deciding between blue and white, went the latter but the blue looks great too. Pretty sure you won't get an oil change at 3000K's though.

Cheers guys.

Nope, not giving up on my car, still love it, I do like the gadgets in the new one though.

Yeah at the 3000km service I've told him to request an oil change.
