hey
i own a 02 focus is it really vital to have the battery box on it? i moved to Darwin and 1 battery has already died due to heat, will it save the battery to remove or do more harm then good? cheers ![]() |

it's a 12V racing battery, looking around $300 I know you won't be interested but, if you are I can put you in touch with the people who sell them.

The battery box shouldn't make too much difference, it's the whole engine bay that's hot in the LR Focus. I'd stick to it, the box is simply there to help contain spillage and not overly effective in keeping it warm/cool.

It's half the size of a normal battery. No topping up, can be installed upright or on their side, NO electrolyte leakage ( even if the outer case is damaged ) How do you like those apples...TeeHee
