Hello, i just purchased a '99 cougar, 141000 kms, Australian model, the day after i bought it it started to surge/lose power and a banging/thud like sound coming from underneath that gets worse. to get it home i found having it in S mode and turning the O/D off made a difference.
ive read through the forum and cant find this problem, particularly with the thumping noise, any help would be appreciated cheers Marlo
