Starving their people 20 years ago? Maybe 20 years ago, but the current regime is pulling their people out of poverty. They aren't doing this to impress the west. In the last 20-30 years they have pulled 300 million out of poverty, and haven't really boasted about it.
Again, I'm not defending them, there a lot of wrongs, but facts are facts.

All you have done is defend them. You keeping posting post after post saying China is not so bad. Tell that to the thousands of Chinese who disappear every year for saying things that criticize the CCP.
Just be glad you live in a country where you have the freedom to say what you want about your government officials.
