I tend to agree but obviously, you, I and a large cohort here are looking more often at performance based. Interested to hear more about your AMG. They caught my attention but a little outside my price range. Hard to find a performance, family friendly and reliable daily rolled into one car. Another criteria for me is manual, especially if going hatch. Current G6Et is a great daily and highway car, although we use the SR5 for highway. Therefore im not really enjoying the performance as much without manual, hence looking at manual RS, GTI R or I30N. Living in port Lincoln though closest tuning (to my knowledge) is 7.5 hrs drive to Adelaide... but there is a Hyundai and VW dealer here...
