I think the Insurance Industry will (should) start applying an Additional
Towing Excess when Towing a trailer with an ATM greater than the GVM of the Towing Vehicle..
That would set the cat among the Pigeons..
The insurance Industry already to it to the Trucking Industry.. Every single tipping Truck/trailer I've ever owned has had
Double excess applies while ever the Tipping Hoist is Engaged Noted on the insurance policy..
