There comes a point when a balance must be reached between ride comfort and handling. The Titanium, being the premium model, should be aimed towards a more comfortable ride. The Titanium isn't a Sport model - at least, it's not meant to be, and that's not what Ford are marketing it as (lack of a manual is evidence of that).
