Is it the Primacy 4 or Primacy 4ST you are considering? I believe the "ST" means Silent Tune - that is, intended to be quieter. I'm unsure if that means they perform any worse in the key ways, wet grip, longevity etc.
The relatively new Goodyear Eagle F1 Sports are getting good reviews and are priced quite well.
