Also, the coloured cover on my series 1 AU fairmont ghia is removable as well, so (as BAxlsUTE wrote), if your "coloured cover" is ok, and you can only get a different coloured replacement, you should be ok. You might even get one which has a scrape on the paint cheaper.
There are three clips which will be easy to see as they are fairly large and coloured the same as the cover. They are easy to undo too.
