Apart from the expense, and the absurdly complicated install, I can't even tell where the filter ended up?
Obviously it's hard to find a spot that's big enough for the K&N filter and gets cold air, but I'm not convinced hanging them down so low is the right solution.

Yes, cost is high. I believe they both sit on front of the passenger front wheel.
