Weber types

Firstly a couple of definitions.

Venturi- opening for air inlet.

Dual stage- Venturi's opening at different times in the throttle phase.

Single stage- Venturi's opening in unison.

Downdraught- Air drawn in vertically.

Sidedraught- Air drawn in horizontally.

Weber DCD

Type- Dual stage Downdraught
Venturi size- 28/36
Found on- Mk1 Cortina GT 'Kent' 1500cc



Weber DGV

Type- Dual stage Downdraught
Venturi size- 32/36
Found on- Mk2 Cortina GT, Mk2 Escort 'Kent' 1600cc



Weber DGAV

Type- Dual stage Downdraught
Venturi size- 32/36
Found on- Cortina Escort 'Pinto' 2000cc



Weber DGAS

Type- Single stage Downdraught
Venturi size- 38/38
Found on- Capri 'Essex' 3000cc *Will also fit DGAV manifold



Weber IDF

Type- Single stage Downdraught
Venturi size- 44/44
Found on- Euro spec Mk2 Escort Group 1 option



Weber DCOE

Type- Single stage Sidedraught
Venturi size- 40/40, 45/45
Found on- Aftermarket fittment
