Works well, better than spar varnish. Problem with varnish being so shiny, is UV gets to it, becomes cloudy, then cracks up. Requires hard scrapping to remove, re sanding to base material, then refinish by layers of varnish.
Dek's goes on, last around 6-8 months with one coat, stays glossy over that time then dulls flat. It can be wiped down or lightly sanded and then re-apply.
You can apply also a 2 pack version by brush.
Second choice for me would be Feast and Watson varnish.

Am thinking it was a Feast & Watson product.... had a rummage though the supply shed & must have used it......... have sent myself to the disappointment corner.... can barely move out there!
