My AU2 2000 model 6 cyl Fairmont has 400,000 klm on it, it does not burn or leak oil, but I change oil every 5000 klm, filter 10,000 klm, I do usual maintenance on it, if it's outside of the engine I fix it, waterpump, alternator, exhaust, hoses and belts etc, but if engine goes then the car goes to wreckers!
