120 hours, I did alot more than that just driving around. Mostly on very busy main roads. Not busy by city standards. Not bumper to bumper but 110kph trucks and cars and all sorts. One of the main roads out of perth (Toodyay road for fellow perth blokes).

For our log book you had to do 25 hours, i think its been bumped up now or is going to be. 50 hours is a fairly long time to do. It takes some people months to do 25! I did it in like 12 days but hey, im magic.

I think more hours is a good idea though. More time on the road means more experience and theoretically you should become a better driver.
