Here, if a person tests positive the first time they are counted as a new positive case. If they test positive 3 days later it does not count as a new positive case, it is just the person is still positive.

UK still counting deaths using stupid methodology. If you are tested positive, and you die within 28 days, you are assumed to have died from Covid. Even if you get hit by a truck. They "fixed" it by making the timeline shorter
