Without the locals anymore, it now comes down to KIA v Hyundai v Mazda v Toyota for the mass movers in small to medium cars. Out of that bunch I reckon Mazda is still seen as the more premium brand. Toyota still the old pair of comfortable jeans, Hyundai in no mans land which leaves KIA as probably the dark horse in terms of being a more progressive and “exciting” option but still with an identity crisis.

If I had to make the choice I reckon it would be between Mazda and KIA....
