I think for the front plate only you use screws so that it can tap into the plastic. Thought I might post to see if anyone else came across this.
The screws in mine were to long and were so close to touching the paint that I filed off the tip of the screw otherwise if the plate was flexed up it would've marked the paint.
But I too have had loose plate issues twice now.
I'll have a closer inspection next time.Thanx.
