I lived in London between 08 to 13, and I'm not surprised they voted out. In fact I'm surprised it was that close, would have expected something like 60-40. The OUT sentiment was there already at the time. And it is NOT all because of immigration.

The EU commission were bullying them with many policies that did not make any sense, and the Brits did not like an unelected commission dictating the terms.

It would be like Australia signing up to an AsiaPac union, and having China and India dictating policies for us.
