Those plugs look sad.

Put a plug back in the lead for #1 and rest it on the engine block. Crank the engine and check for spark. You should have a nice fat spark.

Check points gap is set OK.

Put a meter on the coil + terminal and block. Crank the engine. You should have 12v there.
