Both the same 351. An extra gear means nothing to me especially if it's going slower. That extra gear change wastes time ;)

That wasnt a fair comparrison. If the C4 gave a better 60 foot and was tuned right, it would have been quicker at the end too. You also had a convertor that had 900 more rpm in the glide, and off memory a different manifold.
