I recently read an article about brake pads in australia and it referred to the fact that pads on european sourced cars are much harsher on discs as a consequence of having to pull cars up from higher speeds that they achieve
on there autobarns / highways .It also mentioned that more brake dust was also a by product from this as well .Cant remember name of mag at the moment but was a very good article .
