The comercial news is doing this now. One channel grabs video from another, obliterates the logo and puts it up. Plenty of examples of this happening.
I've also seen commercial news leech stories from places like reddit and paste it up. They are just as bad as everyone. Apart from the ABC the standard of journalism in Australia is pretty poor.
A lot of footage from war zones is coming from people with videophones these days. Look at Egypt and the riots. This wasn't reporters getting the footage it was people on the street capturing the video.
As for the bloggers, blogging. Well that isn't an internet thing. Journalists often do opinion pieces on news that other journalists have broken.
