dunno mate, my brother had a steel one made up from scratch for a conversion, can`t remember the actual figure( pretty sure it was more than $300, possibly $500), but it was in the hundreds, i reckon a good second hand unit/ correct application might be the go.
if your going to make an enquiry about getting the thick one modded................i would ring small tailshaft places first, imo you`ll get a better deal than the big companys on this one.
