If she bought the car from a Ford Dealer, it would've taken more than a few weeks for the Throttle Body to deposit crap in it, they should've given it a clean before they even sold it as part of their used car policy. If she paid for it then I would've gone back with the reciept and demanded a refund with interest because they shouldn't charge for that. They really are sharks when it comes to servicing, 150+ for a filter and oil change is ludacris (considering it takes 20 minutes at the most drive in and drive out and $40 dollars of consumables). $60 at the most for that. But in your scenario definately not pay a cent.
